Your Day-by-Day Journey
Day 1: Welcome to Arusha
Land at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) and ease into your adventure at Arusha Planet Lodge. Savor a welcome dinner as your guide preps you for the wild days ahead.
Day 2: Tarangire National Park
A 2.5-hour drive lands you in Tarangire, where elephant herds roam among ancient baobabs. Full-day game drive, then unwind at Tarangire Safari Lodge with park vistas.
Day 3: Lake Manyara National Park
Head 1.5 hours to Lake Manyara—spot tree-climbing lions and flamingos. Add a Maasai village visit ($25) if you’re up for it. Overnight at Lake Manyara Serena Lodge.
Day 4: Serengeti National Park
Drive 3.5 hours to Serengeti’s iconic plains. Afternoon game drive hunts for the Big Five. Sleep under the stars at Serengeti Kati Kati Camp.
Day 5: Serengeti Deep Dive
