About This Great Migration Safari

Your Migration Safari Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Arusha
Land at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) and check into Arusha Planet Lodge. Meet your guide for a migration briefing.
Day 2: Serengeti National Park
Drive 3.5 hours to Serengeti’s western corridor or northern plains (seasonal). Afternoon migration tracking. Stay at Migration Camp.
Day 3: Migration in Action
Full-day game drive following wildebeest herds—river crossings possible. Overnight at Migration Camp.
Day 4: Serengeti Exploration
Another full day chasing the migration—zebras, predators, and more. Optional balloon safari ($550). Third night at Migration Camp.
Day 5: Ngorongoro Highlands
Drive 3 hours to Ngorongoro rim. Evening crater views and relaxation at Ngorongoro Serena Lodge.
Day 6: Ngorongoro Crater
Descend into the crater for a 6-hour game drive—rhinos and flamingos included. Second night at Ngorongoro Serena Lodge.
Day 7: Departure
Return to Arusha (4 hours) with an optional market stop. Transfer to JRO, carrying migration memories.
