Your Family-Friendly Itinerary
Day 1: Welcome to Arusha
Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) and settle into Arusha Planet Lodge. Enjoy a family welcome dinner and safari briefing.
Day 2: Serengeti National Park
Drive 3.5 hours to Serengeti. Afternoon game drive tailored for kids—spot lions and giraffes. Stay at Serengeti Kati Kati Camp with family tents.
Day 3: Serengeti Family Fun
Full-day game drive with picnic lunch. Optional cultural visit ($25) to a Maasai village. Second night at Kati Kati Camp.
Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater
Travel 3 hours to Ngorongoro. Descend into the crater for a 6-hour family game drive—rhinos and hippos await. Overnight at Ngorongoro Farm House.
Day 5: Fly to Zanzibar
Drive to Arusha (4 hours), then take a 1-hour flight to Zanzibar. Check into Z Hotel Nungwi, a family-friendly beach resort.
Day 6: Zanzibar Beach Day
