Your Day-by-Day Camping Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Arusha
Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) and transfer to Outpost Lodge in Arusha. Meet your guide, enjoy a budget-friendly dinner, and rest up for the adventure.
Day 2: Tarangire National Park
Drive 2.5 hours to Tarangire, known for elephant herds and baobab trees. Full-day game drive, then camp at Tarangire Public Campsite with basic amenities.
Day 3: Serengeti National Park
Head 3.5 hours to Serengeti’s vast plains. Afternoon game drive to spot the Big Five. Set up camp at Seronera Public Campsite under the starry sky.
Day 4: Serengeti Exploration
